What Else is There to Live For
What Else is There to Live For is my first zine. It moves between socialist dreams of a future worth living in and the bleak reality of profound alienation under neoliberal capitalism. It's about an anarchist punk moving away from subcultural signalling toward solidarity with regular working people. It's about the oblivion of alcoholism and the struggle toward sobriety. It's about the trauma and profound betrayal of cancel culture and being publicly turned on by once trusted community. It's about the utter loneliness and desolation wreaked by capitalist realism at every level of our lives, and the courage it takes to want so, so much more.
